A shocking incident has come to light in the Mfantseman Constituency, where the Women’s Organiser of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Maria Hattum, is accused of plotting to kill her baby daddy, Emmanuel Coffie, who is also an aspirant of the party. The police are currently holding the driver of the aspirant for allegedly conniving with the Women’s Organiser to execute the plan.

The motive behind this horrendous act, as reported by Adom FM, was the aspirant’s decision to pull out of the Mfantseman parliamentary race, which didn’t go well with Maria, who was aspiring to become an MP’s wife. It is said that she hired the driver to mix her baby daddy’s food with broken bottles to kill him slowly.

The victim, Fiifi Buadu, revealed in an interview with Adom FM’s morning show, Dwaso Nsem, that he withdrew from the party’s race to support Emmanuel Coffie, which didn’t go down well with Maria. Buadu further alleged that Maria gave broken bottles to his driver, Lord Ofosu, to mix with his food daily with the promise to pay him GH¢50,000 if he executes the plan.

Buadu’s health deteriorated when the driver mixed almost half of the broken bottles in his food. The driver started acting moody, and upon interrogation, he confessed to the plot. Buadu was rushed to the Mercy Women’s Catholic Hospital, where he was diagnosed with poisoning.

Maria has denied the allegations, stating that the driver is not her friend and urged Buadu to interrogate him to ascertain the truth in the matter. She expressed shock and disappointment at the accusation, calling it a deliberate attempt by her baby daddy to ruin her reputation.
