The documentary “Navajo Police: Class 57” talks about a group of recruits who are being trained to become Navajo police officers. This captivating series was premiered in October 2023. It has already captured the attention of audiences worldwide.
As at now, the group is likely to graduate from training successfully. Some of the recruits who were featured in the documentary are Jayvion Chee, Latoya Johnson, Krystal Woodis, Brandon Cowboy and Thomas Walker.
Navajo Police Class 57 where are they now?
There were a total of 28 recruits featured in the documentary “Navajo Police”. However, all their names are not publicly disclosed. Below are the updates on the few we know:
Jayvion Chee is still working as a Navajo police officer. Currently, he is assigned to the Shiprock District.
Johnson is currently serving a Navajo police officer. She is assigned to the Crownpoint District.
Krystal Woodis is no more a Navajo police officer. She is now working as a social worker.
Brandon Cowboy is still working as a Navajo police officer. He is assigned to the Chinle District.
Walker is still working as a Navajo police officer. He is currently assigned to the Window Rock District.
It is likely that majority of the 28 recruits are working as police officers while a few are working in other fields.
