National Coordinator announces positive changes in School Placement System

Mark Sasu Mensah, the national coordinator for the Computerized School Selection and Placement System (CSSPS), has provided some updates on the placement process for senior high school (SHS).

He claims that despite difficulties since the CSSPS team’s founding in 2017, the system is improving significantly.

In an interview with Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen program on Monday, Mr. Sasu Mensah stated that the team is dedicated to identifying and offering solutions to the difficulties found in the placement system.

“The dedication of the team has resulted in a notable 30% improvement in the system last year” he said.

According to him, the “test of confirmation,” which was effectively used to address many problems last year, is one of the most recent developments.

According to him, this creative strategy is anticipated to keep problems at bay and streamline the hiring procedure.

Mr. Sasu Mensah pleaded with the populace to trust CSSPS.

“The organization’s primary goals of promoting transparency, equity, and fairness throughout the placement process are our key” he stressed.

He pointed out that foreign students are also included in the placement process, highlighting the system’s inclusivity and its function in serving a variety of student populations.

When utilizing the placement system, students must adhere to certain rules.

These requirements call for choosing one Category A school, a minimum of two Category B schools, and a minimum of five Category C schools. To prevent duplicates, students must additionally prioritize and rank their preferred schools.
