My son deserves all the insults – Pete Edochie wades into Yul’s polygamy

In the middle of his son Yul Edochie’s polygamous marriage and turmoil with Judy Austin, veteran Nollywood actor Pete Edochie has at last addressed the concerns surrounding the young man.

Recently, May Edochie, the actor’s first wife, accused Yul of being unfaithful and made threats against him. This caused their already strained relationship to worsen.

Pete Edochie expressed his viewpoint on the marital conflict involving his son in a recent interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo, claiming that his son is deserving of all the criticism.

In a proverbial speech, he said, “He who goes to the farm and gets ant-infested firewood (amongst all the good firewood in the farm) shouldn’t be surprised when lizards start paying him a visit.”

In essence, the seasoned performer seemed to be saying that Yul’s choice to let Judy Austin, whom he described as “infested,” into the family is what led to the difficulties he is currently experiencing.

He said that Yul’s activities had brought hardship, suffering, insults, and backwardness into his life.

Judy has been marginalized while other Edochie family members have sided with his estranged wife.

May Edochie, his first wife, has filed for divorce and a lawsuit seeking N100,000,000 in damages.
