The Minister of Communications and Digitalization, Ursula Owusu-Ekuful, has angered and disappointed well-known gospel musician MOG Music by admitting that she is a contributor to Ghana’s issues.
The musician revealed in a string of passionate tweets that Ursula and the NCA were allegedly involved in interfering with MTN Ghana’s operations in order to raise data bundle prices.
In response, MOG Music said, “Based on what they advertised, we bought in, and now we the people have to suffer at the hands of an incompetent @NCAGhana BOSS and team? @UrsulaOwusuu1, you are one of the issues facing our nation. Please review all the policies.
He expressed dismay and questioned the NCA’s decision-making process as well as any potential repercussions for the people who trusted and invested in the MTN Ghana services.
Has @NCAGhana ever provided assistance to @MTNGhana’s marketing division, yelled MOG Music? Why do you now suggest that they raise their pricing so that some consumers can quit and join other networks? Why did you ask them to revoke the zone package that aided the underprivileged and students?
With the help of these quotations, MOG Music expressed his annoyance and demanded that Ursula Owusu-Ekuful be included in the evaluation of the NCA’s policies that had been put into place.
He voiced his worry about how it would affect MTN Ghana and the people who depended on their services, pointing out in particular how it was contradictory to recommend price rises while discontinuing helpful services.
