Mitchell Olson was born on July 23, 1963, in Powers Lake, North Dakota. He was a graduate of Hopkins High School. He held an associate degree in Law Enforcement from North Hennepin Community College.
He served in the National Guard and was deployed to Iraq in 2009-2010. Olson loved working outdoors, especially as a semi-driver. As a patriot and cheerleader, Mitchell Oslon was passionate about politics and serving other people.
Mitch loved outdoor activities – farming, hunting, fishing, NASCAR and being with his beloved hunting dogs. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Gene & Luella Olson and LeRoy & Vera Buller.
He left behind his dear wife, Megan, son Hunter, stepdaughters Danica and Taylor Rustad, and parents Gene & Sylvia Olson.
