Bridget Otoo, a media personality, and Metro TV management have reached a deal for her to return to broadcast journalism.
Since she joined Metro TV in August 2021 after leaving TV3 almost a year prior, the media organisation is not a new environment for Bridget.
Shortly after the journalist started working for Metro TV, rumours surfaced that the two had broken up over political disagreements.
The administration of Metro TV, however, refuted these rumours by stating that “Our recent acquisition Bridget Otoo remains a part of the Metro TV family and a happy one as such. Rumours about the involvement of the government in a rumoured discharge from this esteemed group are completely untrue, and they shouldn’t be paid any attention to.
The statement said, “Bridget is pleased to be here, as are we to have her on board, and we look forward to achieving greater heights together.
The rumours persisted, and after that Bridget disappeared from the television for almost six months, albeit the cause is still unknown.
However, according to reliable sources, Bridget’s return to Newsnight on Metro TV at 7 p.m. is what matters.
It is said that management was responsible for getting the journalist to agree to come back.
