Akoto believes that the team’s remaining five matches are “non-negotiable” and emphasises that they are focused on winning the league. Speaking on Empire FM, he said, “It’s a four-point lead, 15 points more to tussle for. We [Medeama] are very confident that we can fight until the end.”

The Communications Director also spoke on the competitive nature of the league and how pleased he is with how it’s shaping up. Akoto said, “It’s a tight race and this title race will go down to the wire.” He’s not wrong, as the race for the Ghana Premier League title is getting more intense with each passing week.

Medeama SC’s next match is expected to be a crucial moment in the title race, as they take on second-place Bechem United in Week 30. The match is sure to be a challenging test for the Mauve and Yellows, who will be looking to secure a vital victory to keep their title hopes alive.

For the most part, Medeama SC has had a strong season, but they’ll need to maintain their current form if they want to win their first league title. With only five matches remaining, every game is a must-win, and the team will need to be at their best to come out on top.

The Ghana Premier League has been a thrilling competition this season, with many twists and turns along the way. As we head into the final stretch of the season, it’s anyone’s guess who will come out on top. However, Medeama SC has shown that they have what it takes to compete at the highest level, and they’ll be hoping to make their mark in the league’s history books.
