McDan Group CEO donates food items to 30 Northern Region communities for Ramadan

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of McDan Group, Daniel McKorley, has donated over 6,000 bags of rice and assorted drinks to thirty (30) communities in the Northern Region of Ghana. The donation is aimed at assisting residents in these communities to celebrate the Ramadan festival without any financial difficulty.

Making the donation, Daniel McKorley expressed the belief that the McDan Group, which is one of Ghana’s leading conglomerates and an integral part of the communities in which they operate, has a greater responsibility to offer support wherever and whenever possible. He also emphasized that Ramadan is the ideal time of year for them to demonstrate their commitment to this responsibility.

“These gestures are always incredibly rewarding, and a source of great pride to the Group,” he said.

The donation forms part of the annual Ramadan initiatives of the McDan Group, which places a great emphasis on supporting communities during the Ramadan period.

The donation of these food items will no doubt bring a huge relief to the beneficiaries, as it will help them to save money which they would have otherwise used to purchase foodstuffs during the period.

The McDan Group has over the years been involved in many social interventions aimed at improving the lives of people in Ghana. This donation is yet another testament to the Group’s commitment to supporting communities in Ghana.
