On Friday, Maxine Redfern was shot and died. Arnel Redfen, her spouse, suffered mortal injuries during a gunfight with the police.

At around 11:30 p.m., the Baltimore County Police Department responded to a report of a domestic disturbance in the 2700 block of Maple Avenue.
According to Anthony Brown’s office, the first responding officer heard trouble within the house, and then he heard bullets and a lady screaming.
According to reports, Arnel Redfern shot the officers after unlocking the front door of the house. Three cops returned fire in retaliation. A handgun was discovered next to Arnel Redfern, who was declared dead at the spot. The deceased woman was identified by the investigation.
