The Maiden Ofie Mega Health Walk, which was organized on August 4, 2023, saw a tremendous outpouring of support for Samuel Awuku, the Director General of the National Lottery Authority (NLA) and prospective parliamentary candidate.
For the approaching 2024 elections, thousands of passionate voters, especially young people, joined together to support Awuku as their first choice for the parliamentary seat.
The event, which was planned to promote health and wellbeing, became a crucial turning point in the history of the Constituency when a huge audience arrived to march with the charismatic Awuku.
