On the Cape Coast-Kumasi Highway in the Central area, a horrifying collision left several people, including children, hurt.
The mishap happened early on July 13, 2023, a Thursday.
According to Alfred of Adom News, the collision involved a Toyota Vitz Taxi, a Nissan Caravan commercial bus, and a Sprinter bus with the registration number AW 3191-13 that was stopped.
According to reports, the incident happened when a Nissan Caravan traveling at a high rate of speed from Assin Fosu to Assin Sienchem struck a Vitz cab.
Afterward, it struck the stopped Sprinter bus that was parked on the roadside shoulder.
The Nissan’s door locked due to the impact after the collision, so the victims had to be pulled out through the windows.
In order to control traffic and make sure the injured were evacuated to neighboring medical facilities, the Central North Regional MTTD hurried to the area and the victims received the necessary help.
