At Kasoa Ofaakor in the Awutu Senya East Municipality of the Central area, a 17-year-old okada rider reportedly suffered cutlass wounds from a well-known marijuana vendor.
The victim’s supervisor, Abraham Ahiadu, and the suspect, known as “Cobra,” allegedly engaged in a protracted quarrel.
His alleged unlawful sales of the chemical, known locally as “wee,” are the source of their dispute.
Cobra thus believed he was on a fact-finding trip when he encountered the victim in his neighborhood with the intention of later reporting him to the authorities.
He then got into a heated dispute with the victim. Abraham reportedly suffered cutlass wounds at the hands of a furious Cobra.
Locals stepped in to help, and the young okada rider was brought to the Winneba Trauma and Specialist Hospital for treatment.
Later, they informed the police about the situation.
Marijuana refers to the dried leaves, flowers, stems, and seeds from the Cannabis sativa or Cannabis indica plant. The plant contains the mind-altering chemical THC and other similar compounds.
People smoke marijuana in hand-rolled cigarettes (joints) or in pipes or water pipes (bongs). They also smoke it in blunts—emptied cigars that have been partly or completely refilled with marijuana. To avoid inhaling smoke, some people are using vaporizers.
