At Ohene Akura in the Kwahu West Municipality of the Eastern Region, a 40-year-old man named Kwabena Larbi is accused of defiling a 10-year-old girl to death.

According to accounts, the event took place on Tuesday, September 12, 2023.
Her heartbroken mother, Ama Rita, told Adom News that her daughter departed for school on Tuesday morning.
But she didn’t come back until she heard that Kwabena Larbi had discovered her body there.
Ama Rita claimed to have spotted the suspect’s lifeless corpse after rushing to her room.
The patient was taken to the hospital urgently, but was already dead when they got there. Her defiling was confirmed by a medical study.
Kwabena Larbi has now been detained by the Nkawkaw Central Police Command and has confessed to perpetrating the crime while in their custody. He is awaiting to be processed to court.
