Mahama to extend ‘Building Ghana’ tour to Volta Region

John Dramani Mahama, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer, is set to visit the Volta area from Thursday, January 11 to Friday, January 12, 2024.

The tour, titled “Building the Ghana We Want Together,” would allow the flagbearer to connect with communities, stakeholders, traditional leaders, and the general public.

According to information obtained by the Ghana News Agency (GNA), the tour would begin with a ‘entry meeting with NDC stakeholders’ in Sogakope.

Mr. Mahama will also participate in community activities in Tegbi and Aflao, as well as commission the Ketu North Party office and address a massive gathering.

He would also make a courtesy visit on the Volta Regional House of Chiefs in Ho to kick off the second day of festivities, and he would later attend a townhall gathering at the Ho Technical University.

Mr Mahama will conclude his journey to the St Francis College of Education in Hohoe with a campus connect attended by students, teacher unions, and education stakeholders.
