Haruna Iddrisu, Member of Parliament for Tamale South, has declared that former President John Dramani Mahama is coming to the presidency with tremendous insights that would transform Ghana’s destiny.
As a result, he has issued an impassioned plea to Ghanaians to vote massively for Mr. Mahama in the 2024 elections.
“I have said that former President Mahama is coming back to the throne with two important insights and one important hindsight. He has been President, and he is being outside as non-President, and he will combine the two to change the destiny of this country.”
He expressed optimism that the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) “would change the country for good.”
The former Minority Leader delivered these statements on December 28 in the palace, when the Nakpanduri paramount chief, Naba David Kansuk Na Golbila II, and his sub-chiefs bestowed upon him the chieftaincy title Sugru-Lana, Chief of Patience.
He also urged chiefs and indigenes in the region to vote for NDC MPs in order to assist Mr. Mahama in bringing about the necessary transformation in the area and in Ghana as a whole.
The outspoken MP reaffirmed his continued support for the country’s progress.
He stated, “I pledge to continue to exercise utmost restraint and patience in my attempt to contribute to the public interest and overall development of Ghana.”
