To qualify as a parliamentary candidate aspirant for the LPG, an individual must meet the requirements for Members of Parliament as stipulated in the 1992 Constitution. The filing fee for LPG’s parliamentary candidates is set at GH¢2,000, while the cost of the nomination form is GH¢500. The party is committed to fielding candidates in all 275 constituencies in the country for the 2024 general election.

In preparation for the 2024 general election, the LPG remains on track with its plans to implement human-centred, industrialisation, and sound economic policies for the country. The party is urging Ghanaians to vote for them to form the next government in 2025.

For the most part, the LPG’s announcement reflects its commitment to promoting transparency and accountability in the electoral process. By providing a clear timeline for the nomination period and outlining the necessary qualifications, the party is ensuring that its candidates meet the necessary criteria and are fully prepared to represent the party’s values and policies.

Overall, the LPG’s efforts to field candidates in all 275 constituencies demonstrate its commitment to promoting democratic values and ensuring that every Ghanaian has the opportunity to participate in the political process.
