Mrs Lordina Dramani Mahama, wife of the 2024 National Democratic Congress (NDC) flag bearer, highlighted the significance of NDC unity during a gathering of Bono East party leaders.
She advised everyone to set aside any previous grudges and form a unified front to fight the next election.
“Let’s please let bygones be bygones,” Mrs. Mahama said at a get-together she hosted on Friday for the Bono East regional and constituency executives, reminding them that unity is indeed strength.
During the campaign, Ghana’s former first lady encouraged party officials and members to spread their leader, John Mahama, and the NDC’s theme of ‘Building the Ghana we want together’ throughout the country.
She also emphasized the need of hard effort and devotion on the part of the party’s leaders and followers in order to succeed and win the 2024 presidential and parliamentary elections.
Mrs. Mahama’s enthusiasm for the party and its purpose was palpable as the audience listened to her speech. Her speech served as a rallying cry for the executives and fans, inspiring them to work together and with resolve.
Mrs Mahama, who is from Ampoma and Jema in the Kintampo South constituency, is also slated to host and meet with all 1,152 branch executives.
