Believers are urged to cling to Jesus Christ’s power of resurrection amid challenging times by Apostle Kelly Joshua, the founder and general overseer of the Charis Fire Ministries.
In a sermon delivered to the Easter celebration crowd at the church auditorium in Aflao, the man of God reprimanded them.
Apostle Joshua claims that because of the suffering that Christ underwent on the cross, his death, and resurrection, “Christians must claim the advantages of that enormous sacrifice the saviour made for the human race. [They] have given us triumph over sin, death, and all human miseries.”
The sacrifice of the Savior on the cross and the power of His resurrection guaranteed an end to our sufferings and difficulties, he said. “We as followers of Christ and believers in his good news, must have the hope that no matter the challenges we are faced with – no matter our trials and temptations in the course of our Christian journey,” he said.
Easter should be a time of introspection and examination, according to the apostle Joshua, “to see if there are any sinful ways in us that required remedying in our walk with Christ Jesus.”
The prophet urged unity among Ghanaians and asked for God’s guidance and intervention for the nation’s leaders.
He continued, “I pray that the All-Powerful God may grant wisdom and insight to the President and other leaders of our beautiful country in their desire to devote their time and lives to working for the welfare of all the people in our dear country Ghana.
