A member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) media team, Nana Akua Avle, has asked for a lie detector test to determine who is speaking the truth in the conspiracy to depose Inspector General of Police (IGP), Dr. George Akuffo Dampare.
She said that everyone involved, including police officers, were stretching the facts.
Speaking on Friday’s Dwaso Nsem morning show on Adom FM, Madam Avle asserted that the parliamentary committee’s job will be simplified by the use of a lie detector test.
Bugri Naabu talks about a contract that the police administration gave him through a middleman called Michael in the recording that was released. The accusation that the police pay Bugri Naabu GH10,000 each month has complicated matters.
The NDC woman said that if the lie detector is used during the investigation, this would be settled.
Why a political party member would be employed by the police was beyond her comprehension.
The Akufo-Addo government, according to Nana Akua Avle, makes anything possible, therefore she is not shocked.
