The music icon was born to Francis Newman and Angela Quaye on August 16, 1995. His music is highly diverse, falling into the categories of Afrobeats, HighLife, R&B, and Hip-Hop. With songs like Oh Yeah, Selfish, and Tokyo, he rose to prominence as one of the pioneers of the new school of Afrobeat.
King Promise studies at the Central University of Ghana, where he graduated in 2016 with a degree in economics and information studies. Despite his academic accomplishments, he has since turned his attention to music.
