Jospong Group of Companies Commends Employees at 2023 Employee Month Launch

The Chief Operating Officer of Jospong Group of Companies, Dr. Samanjith Udumalaga, has applauded the dedication and hard work of the employees of the conglomerate, which has contributed to the success of the company. He praised the learning environment of the Group and urged employees to take advantage of it to improve their skills and knowledge.

The 2023 Jospong Employee Month was launched with the theme “Improving the lives of our people,” and the Guest Speaker, Wing Commander Samuel J. A Allotey, stressed the need for business leaders to respect their subordinates and avoid demoralizing them. He emphasized that business leaders should create a conducive environment for their employees to thrive and regulate themselves to avoid disciplinary issues.

Wing Commander Allotey, who is also a Board member of the Technical Logistics Cluster of the Group, cautioned against workplace polarization and urged the leadership of the Group to focus on people issues. He urged companies to make people issues part of their management review meetings.

The Executive Chairman of Jospong Group of Companies, Dr. Joseph Siaw Agyepong, in a speech read on his behalf, highlighted that the theme for this year’s employee month celebration, “Improving the Lives of our People,” aligns with the Group’s commitment to building the capacity of its employees both locally and internationally.

For the most part, the launch of the 2023 Jospong Employee Month highlighted the need for business leaders to create a supportive environment for their employees and prioritize people issues in their management review meetings.

The event emphasized the importance of respecting subordinates, creating a conducive atmosphere, and regulating oneself in the workplace. These factors contribute to a positive work environment and lead to a more productive workforce.
