John A. Kumah, a member of parliament for the Ashanti Region’s Ejisu Constituency, has given scholarships to four deserving but talented local students.
These scholarships were provided to these students by the MP who also serves as the deputy minister of finance in order to help them further their study.
John Kumah asserts that he is prepared to cover the entire cost of the tertiary beneficiaries while applauding several residents of his district who have been given numerous job placement possibilities in the commercial and public sectors.
The recipients, who were named the overall best students in the Municipality for the WASCE and BECE exams in 2022, also received laptops and other educational supplies from John Kumah.
Ms. Athur Godslove and Patrick Agyekum Afriyie, who both graduated from Ejisuman Senior High School, are the recipients.
Ms. Arthur, a general science candidate, was named the best female student and received a score of nine, while Afriyie, another general science candidate, had a score of nine and was named the best male student.
Master Adjei Nathaniel Jonathan and Maria Abdullah, who both graduated from the Ejisu M/A Model Junior High School with aggregates of six and seven, respectively, are the other beneficiaries.
Both Maria and Jonathan are currently enrolled in Kumasi’s St. Louis Senior High School and Prempeh College, respectively.
