Jim Yao Morti Vows to Turn Ketu South into an Industrial Hub

Jim Yao Morti, a prominent entrepreneur with vast experience in construction and transportation, has announced his intentions to run for the Ketu South Constituency in the upcoming parliamentary elections. Mr Morti has promised to make Ketu South an industrial hub and construct one factory every year, providing employment opportunities for the constituency’s youth.

Mr Morti has already constructed a coconut processing factory at Agbozume-Gbadzame, which will soon be commissioned for operation. According to Mr Morti, his plans to develop the agriculture, education, health, road and sports sectors, and transform the industrial sector, will make the majority of the people financially self-dependent.

Ketu South has a population of vibrant young men and women who require jobs and financial stability. Mr Morti believes that his plan to create employment through the establishment of factories will enable young people to be productive members of society.

Mr Morti has expressed his determination to turn Ketu South into an industrial hub, much like China. He stated that China is a great example of a country with a strong manufacturing base, and that Ketu South can follow in its footsteps. “Ketu South can also be transformed into an industrial hub to benefit our youth, especially. As an entrepreneur, I’m promising Ketu South one factory every year. A factory in 2024, 2025, … 2028,” he said.

Mr Morti is urging delegates to endorse his candidacy and vote for him in the upcoming parliamentary elections. He believes that his election will enable him to initiate development projects that will benefit the people of Ketu South. “Initially, I was just trying to support the development needs of the area but realised that I needed to have the people’s mandate to be able to do some of those projects,” he said.
