Matt Gutman is an American author and reporter for ABC News. He is ABC News’ Chief National Correspondent. As a very seasoned and influential journalist, Matt Gutman has won many awards from organizations including The Emmys, RTDNA, and the Society of Professional Journalists. His achievements are a testament that he is one of the best journalists ever. 

Matt Gutman age and early life 

Matt Gutman was born on December 5, 1977, in Westfield, New Jersey. He received his education at Newark Academy, where he was honored as a scholar-athlete football player. He went on to graduate from Williams College in 2000.

Following his graduation from college, he debuted his career as a reporter for News 12 New Jersey. In 2005, he joined ABC News as a correspondent for Good Morning America. He has also reported for World News Tonight, Nightline, and 20/20.

Is Matt Gutman Jewish?

Matt Gutman has not disclose his ancestry  so it is not known for certain whether he is Jewish. However, there are  few evidence to suggest that he may be. For instance, he has spoken at Jewish events, such as a fundraiser for the Jewish Family and Children’s Service of Greater Philadelphia.

He has also commented on Jewish stories, such as the story of a Jewish man’s kidney being transplanted into a Christian Palestinian woman’s body. Also, Matt Gutman’s wife, Daphna Venyige, is Jewish. All these are evident that he is a Jewish.
