Hisense Ghana, a renowned electronics company, has made a generous donation to the Technical and Vocational Education Training (TVET) Greater Accra Regional office. The donation, worth thousands of cedis, consisted of five brand-new Hisense refrigerators, three Hisense television sets, and Hisense microwaves.
According to Renee Quaye, Hisense’s Marketing Coordinator, the donation is part of the company’s ongoing effort to support the regional office in its daily operations. “We believe it will certainly go a long way in facilitating your daily activities,” she said. “These items are of high quality, and we know they will help your offices a great deal.”
The donation was made in response to a request for support from the TVET Greater Accra Regional office. Hisense Ghana hopes that their contribution will help the office operate more efficiently and effectively.
The Acting Regional Director of Greater Accra TVET, Juliana Nkrumah, and her deputy, Philip Aheto, expressed their gratitude to Hisense Ghana for their generosity. “We are indeed grateful for this support,” Nkrumah said. “It will help immensely, thank you.”
TVET is an important component of Ghana’s educational system, providing technical and vocational skills training to students and preparing them for the job market. Hisense Ghana’s donation will undoubtedly help the TVET Greater Accra Regional office in their efforts to provide quality training and education to students.
For the most part, this donation serves as an excellent example of corporate social responsibility, where companies give back to the communities in which they operate. Hisense Ghana’s contribution to TVET is a commendable effort that will have a positive impact on the education and training of Ghana’s youth.
