Govt projects: Atiwa East MP inspects projects; happy with progress

Abena Osei Asare, the member of parliament for Atiwa East, has visited a few project locations in her district.

The Atiwa East Member of Parliament’s visit is a component of her plan to guarantee that projects are properly pursued.

The MP was driven to the Anyimam new TVET campus, where the physical buildings were more than 85% finished.

Progress was being made on both the main structure and the auxiliary buildings, including the dormitories for boys and girls and the working spaces.

The primary bridge that links the inhabitants on the opposite side of the river to the other towns and cities was located at Sea-Abenaso.

She looked over the Six Unit classroom block at Aworensua-Kwakwaduam and another one at Subriso.

The Minister visited Abakoasu to examine the 95% finished construction of the self-initiated local police station. Additionally, a contemporary ICT lab with offices was examined.

Domnic Awuah Owusu, the area coordinator, expressed gratitude, especially for the help with ICT and security.

Engineer Kofi Addo assured reporters that the hospital project will be finished earlier than expected.

The facility at the Emyiresi Health Centre, which was supposed to be given over in 2024, is finished earlier than expected and will be ready for handover in October 2023.

Fiifi Kelvin, the site engineer for the Enyiresi Hospital Project, gave the group an update on the state of the construction.

The deputy finance minister and Atiwa East MP, Abena Osei Asare, expressed satisfaction with the pace of the work, particularly at the hospital.

She said that her vision for the area is a component of Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo’s larger goal of achieving strong development across all economic sectors.
