Ghanaian MP’s Daughter Cast in ‘Young, Famous and African’ Netflix Reality Show Season 2

Jomoro MP Dorcas Affo-Toffey is elated after her daughter, Fantana, was cast in the upcoming season of the Netflix reality show Young, Famous, and African. The proud mother took to Facebook to express her joy, stating that seeing her daughter living her dreams made her ecstatic.

She also encouraged her daughter to keep believing in herself and what she could achieve. The reality series, which will air on May 19, follows a group of young media stars in Johannesburg as they build careers, search for love and reignite old flames.

Fantana, a former signee of Rufftown Records, was cast among other influential young people in the African creative arts industry, including Diamond Platnumz from Tanzania, Khanyi Mbau from South Africa, and Annie Macaulay-Idibia and 2Baba from Nigeria.

The upcoming season will also feature Zari the Boss Lady from Uganda, Naked DJ and Andile Ncube from South Africa, Nadia Nakai, Swanky Jerry from Nigeria, and Kayleigh Schwark from South Africa.

The MP described her daughter’s casting as a great opportunity and a dream come true, expressing her immense pride in Fantana’s achievement. She encouraged her daughter to seize the opportunity and make the most of it, advising her to continue to strive for excellence in all her endeavors.
