GHA announces road diversion after heavy rains cut off Bamboi-Wa highway
The N10 Techiman-Kintampo Road may be reached by turning off at Sawla and the Fufulso Road, according to the Ghana Highway Authority (GHA), which has recommended drivers coming from Wa and its environs to the south to do so.
Additionally, drivers traveling from the south to Wa are advised to use the Techiman-Kintampo Road exit at the Fufulso intersection before continuing on the Fufulso-Sawla Road to Sawla and then to Wa and beyond.
This comes after the bridge connecting the settlements of Bole and Doli was destroyed, rendering it impassable to both vehicles and people.
GHA described the situation as regretful and said that a damaged dam by the side of the road was to blame for the destruction.
The Authority has guaranteed that its technical staff and engineers are actively addressing the problem as soon as is reasonably possible.
