Elder Raphael Adzorze, the Presiding Elder of Grace Temple of the Great Commission Church International (GCCI), has emphasized the importance of sound biblical teachings and urged Christian leaders to leave a legacy in the Church.
According to him, leadership is critical to the direction and strength of the Church, nations, and institutions, and leaders must be cautious not to mislead and destroy those they lead.
At the GCCI Maranatha Assembly’s Easter Convention held in Tema, Elder Adzorze delivered a message to wrap up the event, speaking on the topic, “Qualifications of Christian Leadership.” He underscored the need for an excellent Christ-like leadership that would prepare the Church for the second coming of Jesus Christ.
Elder Adzorze further stressed that leadership at all levels of the Church must be people of integrity, and Christian leadership should glorify Jesus Christ. He also emphasized that the Church, being the foundation and pillar of truth, must carry the gospel’s truth to the world.
“Sound doctrine is the teaching of Jesus Christ! When sound doctrine is taught in the Church, the presence of Jesus, the head of the Church is assured,” Elder Adzorze said. He urged Christian leaders to teach sound doctrine to ensure the presence of Jesus Christ in the Church.
In conclusion, Elder Adzorze called on Christian leaders to remain steadfast in their commitment to the gospel and to prioritize the teachings of Jesus Christ.
