Gambo meets American producer Timberland while in US to produce first album

Gambo, the talented Ghanaian trap rapper, has returned to the United States to work on his first full studio album.

To make his album a success, he is now working with a variety of seasoned American music business engineers, producers, and record label executives.

Gambo is collaborating with iconic artist Jim Jones to finish his popular song ‘Drip’ remix. He is also working on his first studio album alongside a lot of performers.

Gambo recently met Timberland and Mack Main, the President of Young Money, as well as Harry O, a co-founder of Death Row Records, at the YouTube Avenue event in Miami, where he put on an incredible performance. He also met Rance, the Sound Academy’s four-time Grammy winner and Jezzy 444 album’s producer.

The ‘Settle’ singer also met with Carva Tee, a record executive, and Tumbasa, the Head of YouTube Africa, at the YouTube Avenue event.

Gambo has had a glittering and brilliant music career with the release of his debut single ‘Kwacha’ in 2020. His ascent to fame in Ghana and beyond has been the product of hard effort, discipline, and devotion to his profession. He has worked tirelessly over the years, producing the bulk of Ghana’s outstanding, world-class music videos. The official music video for his ‘Drip’ song, recorded on the seventh floor of the Kempinski Hotel, was hailed top class by music enthusiasts, and it wowed even famed American rapper Jim Jones.

He is carrying on his strong musical history in the United States, and he is doing everything he can to make his fans happy with the next album.

Gambo spent six months in 2023 on his first North American tour, performing in key cities around the country. On July 15th, he came home to a raucous welcome at Kotoka International Airport, where he was greeted by several of his supporters. He returned to Ghana following the popularity of his renowned street hymn, ‘Cut Soap,’ on which he collaborated with Nigerian singer, Goya Menor.
