Four rescued from gory accident on Buipe Highway, Savannah region

Four people were rescued from a terrible accident on the Buipe Highway in the Savannah region on Monday. The accident occurred between two DAF vehicles with registration numbers BF 6161-D 503 and WR 2280-14.

Fortunately, the Buipe Fire Station firefighters arrived promptly at the scene and were able to rescue the trapped victims. The victims were quickly handed over to the Ambulance Service, with three of them taken to the Buipe District hospital, and the other critically injured victim referred to the Tamale Teaching Hospital.

According to an eyewitness, the accident was caused by the overspeeding of the driver of the DAF with registration number WR 2280-14, who hit the rear of the other DAF with registration number BF 6161-D 503. This tragic incident highlights the importance of responsible driving and adherence to road safety regulations.

The Buipe Fire Station firefighters are commended for their swift response and professionalism, which saved the lives of the trapped victims. We urge all motorists to exercise caution while driving, especially on highways, to prevent road accidents and the loss of innocent lives.
