The National Democratic Congress (NDC) in South Africa is eager to cooperate with anyone who wants to strengthen Ghana, according to Benjamin Kofi Quashie, the chair of the Council of Elders for the NDC.
The NDC official stated that the NDC will work closely with Ghanaians to help the country get back on its feet during an interview on 98.9FM’s Epa Hoa Daben with presenter Sefah-Danquah.
“When NDC takes office, we will be open to the people of Ghana; we will let them know the challenges we are facing as a result of what we came to inherit,” he stated. “We will also open the floor for citizens to make suggestions on how we can build the nation.”
However, the Group Chairman of the Allied Consortium said that the NDC is always ready to work with the NPP as long as they are prepared to do so for the sake of the nation.
The NDC will always be prepared because we cannot accomplish this on our own. “This is just common sense; if we have people from the NPP who are knowledgeable and are ready to contribute their quota to the building us of this country,”
He emphasised that, should they win the upcoming general elections, which will take place in 2024, to become the dominant party, the New Democratic Congress will keep the promise it has made to the country.
