Dreams Football Club secured a place in the semi-final of the MTN FA Cup after defeating Legon Cities 1-0 in a quarterfinal match played on Friday, April 7. Ebenezer Adade scored the crucial goal in extra time to help the Believers secure a spot in the final four.

Throughout the game, Dreams FC dominated possession and controlled the flow of the game, but failed to break through the Legon Cities defence in the first half. The second half was equally uneventful, with both teams failing to make significant attempts at goal, leading to extra time.

It was in the 103rd minute of extra time that Dreams FC finally found a breakthrough, as Adade went on a solo run and beat the Legon Cities goalkeeper. Despite a late push by the visitors to equalize, Dreams FC held on to their lead and secured their place in the semi-finals.

The defeat adds more pressure on Legon Cities coach Maxwell Konadu, whose team is currently in the relegation zone. Dreams FC, on the other hand, will be hoping to maintain their winning momentum and secure a spot in the final of the MTN FA Cup.
