Dr. Kwabena Duffuor Wraps Up Campaign Tour in 3 Northern Regions

As the National Democratic Congress (NDC) gears up for the 2025 presidential elections, one of its aspirants, Dr. Kwabena Duffuor, has concluded a campaign tour of the Northern, North East, and Savannah Regions of Ghana.

During the tour, Dr. Duffuor emphasized the importance of collaboration between the NDC and the government to strengthen the party’s grassroots in a sustainable manner. He promised that, if elected, appointments would be made in consultation with the constituency and branch executives to ensure inclusiveness.

Dr. Duffuor engaged with regional, constituency, and branch executives of the party in all constituencies in the three regions. In the Northern Region, he paid a courtesy call on the Overlord of Dagbon, Ya-Na Abukari II, at the Gbewaa Palace in Yendi, where he expressed his gratitude for the honor and discussed matters of mutual interest.

In his remarks, Dr. Duffuor commended traditional leaders across Ghana for their role in nation-building and emphasized the need for continued collaboration to achieve a common goal of building a Better Ghana.

The former Governor of the Bank of Ghana and Finance Minister has been positioning himself as a unifier and an experienced leader who can steer the NDC to victory in the next presidential elections.

As the campaign season heats up, it remains to be seen who will emerge as the NDC flagbearer, but Dr. Kwabena Duffuor’s message of inclusiveness and collaboration seems to be resonating with many party faithful.
