Cook-a-thon: Personalities who showed up to support Chef Failatu on day one

Politicians and celebrities have flocked to the Modern City Hotel in Tamale, Northern Region, to express their support for Failatu Abdul Razak, a Ghanaian chef who is seeking to beat the current Guinness World Record for the longest cooking marathon.

Failatu’s cook-a-thon began at midnight on January 1, 2024, and she intends to cook for more than 120 hours.

The first films shown by the state broadcaster, GTV, showed Failatu and her staff in their glass-encased kitchen, which was embossed with portraits of Chef Faila

On the first day, various celebrities, including Ghanaian artist Kwabena Kwabena, came to show their support for Chef Failatu.

Yaw Dabo, a Ghanaian actor, also expressed his support and encouraged other celebrities to help Chef Failatu in her endeavor.

In addition to the celebrities, parliamentarians such as Haruna Iddrisu, Member of Parliament for Tamale South, and Ibrahim Murtala Muhammed, Member of Parliament for Tamale Central, were there.

They congratulated Chef Failatu Abdul Razak on her effort and wished her success in her endeavor.
