The Church of Pentecost has announced that it spent more than GH₵3.6 million on healthcare support for its members across the country in 2022. This figure is part of the church’s Vision 2023 plan to provide healthcare assistance to its members. The Chairman of the Church, Apostle Eric Nyamekye, revealed this during the State-of-the-Church Address at the opening of the 46th General Council Meetings.

According to Apostle Nyamekye, the GH₵3.6 million was spent at the local, district, and area levels of the church, excluding the amount spent by the Headquarters of the Church during the period under review. The church’s 10 health facilities, which include three hospitals and seven clinics, with a total staff strength of 1,096, provided medical attention to 204,184 patients in the various jurisdictions from where they operate. These facilities have played a significant role in ensuring that members of the church have access to quality healthcare.

The Church of Pentecost has a long-standing tradition of providing healthcare support to its members. The church has always placed a premium on the health and well-being of its members, and this is reflected in the amount spent on healthcare support.

Apostle Nyamekye emphasized that the church’s commitment to providing healthcare support to its members would continue to be a top priority. He encouraged members of the church to take advantage of the facilities available to them and to prioritize their health.

For the most part, the church’s efforts in providing healthcare support to its members have been commendable. With the increasing cost of healthcare, it is essential to have organizations like the Church of Pentecost that are committed to supporting their members in this area. The church’s investment in healthcare is a testament to its commitment to improving the lives of its members.
