Another individual accused of taking money from Cecilia Dapaah at her home has been granted bail.
The total number of those who were granted bail now stands at three.
As a result of the fact that two of them are breastfeeding mothers, they had already been given bond.
On Tuesday, August 22, 2023, attorneys for the sixth defendant, Job Pomary, requested bail on his behalf in court in Accra.
He is suspected of working with Christiana Achab, the fifth defendant in the case, to spend the money allegedly taken from the former sanitation minister’s home on a four-bedroom house in Kokrobite.
The bail application was not opposed by the prosecutors.
He was given a $300,000 bail bond with two sureties to be justified.
Every two weeks, he is required to report to the police. This routine helps to ensure that the police are aware of his whereabouts and can monitor his compliance with any legal obligations.
The two lactating mothers haven’t been released yet since they haven’t complied with their bail requirements.
