Ghanaian music executive, BullGod, has made a bold prediction that young artist Black Sherif will take home the Artiste of the Year award at this year’s Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA). Speaking on TV3 New Day, BullGod expressed his admiration for Black Sherif’s talent and the way his music speaks to a global audience. While there are other talented artists in the category, BullGod believes that Black Sherif’s music and impact make him a strong contender for the award.

The Artiste of the Year category is always one of the most hotly contested at the VGMA awards, and this year is no exception. Black Sherif will face stiff competition from some of Ghana’s most popular artists, including Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, Piesie Esther, Joe Mettle, Kidi, King Promise, and Camidoh.

Despite the tough competition, BullGod is confident that Black Sherif has what it takes to win. “This year, if you look at what our people in the world have done, as in the Black Sherifs and Stonebwoys, we will not allow any gospel artiste to win AOTY,” BullGod said.

For the most part, BullGod’s prediction has sparked a lot of conversation among music fans who are eager to see whether Black Sherif will indeed take home the coveted Artiste of the Year award. However, it is important to note that the VGMA awards are based on votes from the public and the VGMA board, so the final decision will ultimately be determined by the votes.

In conclusion, BullGod’s prediction adds to the growing anticipation and excitement for this year’s VGMA awards, and it will be interesting to see whether Black Sherif will come out on top. The ceremony is scheduled to take place on May 6, 2023, and fans from around the world will be tuning in to see who will be crowned the Artiste of the Year.
