Bryan Acheampong responded to Mahama’s threats and sermonising on violence with “Miracles Aboagye”

Former President John Dramani Mahama, who, according to a member of the presidential staff named Dennis Miracles Aboagye, threatened and preached violence, received a response from Minister of Food and Agriculture Bryan Acheampong.

According to the Mricales Aboagye, those who attack Bryan Acheampong despise individuals who speak up for themselves.

He wrote in a tweet, “Your candidate preaches and threatens violence while extolling your revolutionary roots.

In response, @BryanAcheampong argues that if you resort to violence, you won’t get what you want and that you are yelling. Why did you think that? Political bullies despise individuals who defend their own interests.

Bryan Acheampong made his remarks after the NDC criticised him for asserting that the NPP will not cede power to the NDC.

Members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) had received assurances from Bryan Acheampong that the economy would recover.

He claimed that the government is attempting to reach an agreement with the IMF (IMF).

He expressed hope that the deal would be finalised by June of this year, which would result in an uptick in the economy.

On April 8, following a health walk, the Abetifi Lawmaker declared, “NDC party would fall,” speaking to NPP members in Kwahu. We will let the NDC know that we have the men if they try to employ violence, threats, or other dumb tactics during the 2024 election. We’ll demonstrate to them that we have men. The men are here.

We, the NPP, would never stand on a podium to offer the NDC the keys to the country. It won’t ever take place! At all costs, we’ll make sure NPP stays in power.

“Now with the way things are changing, the economy will bounce back again, I am telling you that we are going to come over that curve and we are going to win the 2024 elections handily,” the former minister of state in charge of national security stated.

The NDC’s Fifi Kwetey, general secretary, referred to the remark as treasonous.

In a statement, he stated, “The NDC categorically denounces this completely careless and treasonous comment. We observe that Bryan Acheampong is the most recent of the NPP’s high-ranking leaders to make such an arrogant declaration that exposes the party’s steadfast commitment to overthrow Ghana’s democratic order.

President Akufo-Addo stated his intention to “give over to an NPP Administration in 2025′′ at a convention of NPP delegates in Kumasi in 2021. This hauntingly brings to mind Nana Addo’s frantic attempts to rig the 2008 elections in the electoral commission’s safe, as well as previous attempts by his desperate party to smuggle corpses into the Volta region’s waterways in an effort to thwart the will of the people in that crucial election.
