He called on residents of Bawku to demonstrate the love of God towards one another and sacrifice their differences for lasting peace in the area.

The Bishop noted that the ongoing conflict in Bawku had severe consequences not only on the socio-economic activities of the area but also on the spiritual growth and well-being of the people. He urged the warring factions to smoke the peace pipe and allow for God’s everlasting peace to reign in Bawku.

“It is important for the feuding factions to sacrifice their differences and ensure lasting peace for the area,” he said.

As the people of Bawku celebrate Easter, Bishop Luguterah prayed for God’s everlasting peace to descend upon the area, bringing stability and development.

The Bishop’s call for peace in Bawku is timely and crucial. As Ghanaians, we must recognize the importance of tolerance, togetherness, and reconciliation, especially during the Easter season. Let us embrace each other as brothers and sisters and work towards achieving lasting peace in Bawku.
