Avoid alcohol, side chicks if you want to experience God’s power in 2024 – Agyinasare

Archbishop Charles Agyinasare, the founder and leader of Perez Chapel International, has recommended Christians to refrain from alcohol use if they want to witness God’s majesty in 2024.

Archbishop Agyinasare advised his congregation to make prayer a high priority if they want the year to be full of blessings and God’s strength.

It was one of the 10 things he stated in his sermon that can help people feel the power of God.

To buttress his plea, he cited Ephesians 5:18, which says, “And do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation; but be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual.”

“Stop drinking alcohol. Stop being high with whisky and being high with beer. If you want to be high, be high with the power of the holy ghost.”

He also advised them against using evil ways to get money, citing persons who join secret societies and perform rituals only for the sake of making money at whatever cost.

He claimed that Christians must have a spiritual urge to earn money and invest some of it in God’s cause, but they should not do so by sacrificing blood or joining secret organizations.

According to the great man of God, in order to feel God’s power and see God’s purpose fulfilled, Christians must shun all forms of evil and be holy.

He recommended married guys to cease chasing after side chicks and young females to quit pursuing married men and instead focus on committing themselves to God and praying for their husbands.

He stated that Christians must receive the Holy Spirit baptism, which expresses itself in the form of speaking in tongues.

He stated that, while people may insult individuals who speak in tongues, the Bible recognizes that those who do so are communicating to God rather than to mankind.
