In their locked room in Gomoa Budumburam in the Gomoa East District of the Central Region, a hairdresser and her thirteen-year-old son’s decomposing bodies had been found.
According to information acquired by Kasapa News’ Yaw Boagyan, the deceased, a Liberian, was in good health earlier on Monday, June 12, 2023, when she was with her son.
However, the two disappeared after that.
Neighbours said that they did not feel the need to look for them since they assumed she had gone to do her regular hairstyling chores.
The lady and her kid were both found dead in the room, and their corpses were starting to rot, in the early hours of Wednesday, June 14, 2023, when nearby neighbours first noticed a foul stench coming from the deceased’s chamber. They proceeded to break the window to investigate and discovered the remains of the mother and her son.
They reported the occurrence as soon as possible at the Gomoa Budumburam Police Station.
The Winneba Specialist and Trauma Hospital Mortuary has taken custody of the remains and will be doing an autopsy and preservation on them.
To help the authorities with their investigation, hazardous liquid was taken from the chamber.
Given that the door was shut from the inside, the locals believe the hairdresser poisoned her and her kid.
