The famous music group, the Bee Gees was formed in 1958 by the siblings Barry Gibb, Robin Gibb and Maurice Gibb. With the birth of the group, the three brothers rose to enormous prominence in the late 1960s and early 1970s.
The Bee Gees later rose to become prominent performers in the disco music era in the late 1970s. Their style of singing was very unique and catchy. This gave their group a great deal of exposure during that era.
They sang recognizable three-part tight harmonies : Robin sang clear vibrato lead vocals which became a hallmark of their earlier success. Barry Gibb’s R&B falsetto became their signature sound during the mid- to late 1970s and 1980s.
