Dr. Clement Apaak, the MP for Builsa South, criticised Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia for saying that despite spending more than 30 years of his professional life in politics, former President John Dramani Mahama had no single transformational initiative to his name.
Dr. Bawumia claims that the NPP, as opposed to the NDC, has adopted a number of measures that have benefited and still benefit the vast majority of Ghanaians.
Dr. Bawumia claims that the NPP, as opposed to the NDC, has adopted a number of measures that have benefited and still benefit the vast majority of Ghanaians.
“Just say one but there is none, only Dumsor and guinea fowls, that’s it, but with the NPP we have one district one factory, digital address, free SHS, zongo constituency fund, there is so much we have done,” the speaker said.
Yet, in response to these remarks, Dr. bashed Dr. Bawumia.
He asserts that he cannot compare himself to Mr. Mahma because the former president has a great deal more experience than he does.
In a tweet, he asserted that Dr. Bawumia is a partisan liar.
He was then challenged to explain to Ghanaians what was revolutionary about the administration he heads.
The much-touted free SHS, he added, is now more expensive than it was before.
“Dr. Bawumia, even though John Mahama has been active in politics for more than 30 years, your name is what people associate with lying. What is transformative about empty slogans; FSHS that is less effective (ask lecturers) and more expensive (ask parents) than it was when it wasn’t free?
