AI presents a special chance to expand client base, says bank CEO

Incorporating artificial intelligence (AI) into the banking industry has some advantages, according to Nana Dwemoh Benneh, chief executive officer of UMB Bank.

He asserts that the new technology has the capacity to enhance and accurately identify client wants when properly applied.

On May 9, Nana Benneh remarked in an interview that AI, for instance, can lessen the workload of banking staff members who frequently spend a lot of time completing paperwork.

“AI, in my opinion, provides the majority of bank employees with the ideal opportunity to concentrate on how to greatly enhance customer connection and concentrate on truly addressing to the needs of clients, since prior to AI, a large portion of our bank staff had to spend time collecting paperwork, teaching them about the various goods and services available and allowing AI to handle the repetitious operational job,” Nana Benneh gave an explanation.

The time that customers spend in banks may be further reduced by AI, he continued, while simultaneously ensuring that banking staff are not put under undue pressure.
