Propak Ghana, the largest exhibition for packaging, printing, plastics, and food processing in Accra, has received the endorsement of the Association of Ghana Industries (AGI) and the Ghana Export Promotion Authority (GEPA). Over 100 brands and 2,500 visitors are expected to attend the event, which will be held from June 6-8, 2023, at the Grand Arena, ICC.

Afrocet Montgomery’s Marketing Director, Jamie Pearson, expressed his excitement about the endorsement, stating that “AGI has fully endorsed the event and will be present for the opening ceremony. GEPA has also endorsed the event and is supporting trade delegations from across the wider West African region that will see a comprehensive buyers-program for those in the F&B and FMCG industries who are in need of an upgrade or new technology in their supply chains and factories.”

Pearson further revealed that the event will feature an industry-leading conference program alongside exhibition booths and product showcases. More than 40 speakers are expected to address topics such as the circular economy, sustainability, and financing options for SME and multinational companies.

The organisers of the event have announced that Propak Ghana will focus on Togo, Benin, Cote d’Ivoire, Burkina Faso, and Senegal, with the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC) present to meet with international companies looking to establish a foothold in the Ghanaian market.

In conclusion, the AGI and GEPA’s endorsement of Propak Ghana provides a significant boost for the exhibition, which aims to showcase the latest technologies and solutions in the packaging, printing, plastics, and food processing industries. The conference program will provide attendees with valuable insights into industry trends and issues, while the presence of the GIPC will offer international companies an opportunity to tap into the Ghanaian market.
