Black Stars head coach Chris Hughton thinks his players understand what they need to do to get the desired outcome in their last group game at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
Ghana will face Mozambique on Monday evening, hoping to collect their first three points of the tournament after losing their first two matches.
The Black Stars lost their first game to Cape Verde before twice wasting a lead to draw with Egypt in their second match.
The draw against the Pharaohs leaves Ghana with only one point moving into the last round of games, when a win might put them in a better position to advance to the next round of the championship.
Addressing the press ahead of Monday’s game, Hughton said: “The players know what it will take to get a result. There are no easy games in this tournament
“We have to be physically and mentally prepared for this.”
A win for Ghana would earn them four points and take them into second place, depending on the outcome of the match between Egypt and Cape Verde.
