Before the 2024 elections, a group of frustrated polling station managers at the Dome Kwabenya Constituency are urging widespread support for a new and victorious candidate.
According to the organisation, doing so would give the party a good chance of winning the district by a wide margin.
The dissatisfied executives said that the punishment meted out to the constituency by an absent MP, whose failure to perform his legislative duties, had resulted in a second trip by the nation to the International Monetary Fund (IMF) for bailout assistance.
The organisation claims that the approval of the Electronic Transactions Levy (E-levy) might have produced the USD $3 billion the country is requesting from the IMF, which has come with all the unwelcome rigidity.
According to the organisation, Adwoa Safo’s unjustified absence from parliament was a major factor in the unjustified delay in the passing of the E-Levy, which had a negative impact on the country.
The organisation claimed that because of this, the same candidate cannot be portrayed as a contender for the nomination against the National Democratic Congress candidate, who is gaining support from the electorate.
Due to the aforementioned, the disgruntled executives are requesting a new candidate.
Due to her lack of respect and dedication, the group said, “We cannot afford to present a candidate who is falling by the minute.”
