Actor and politician John Dumelo has provided math sets to candidates in the 2023 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) as a way of supporting the children in the Ayawaso West constituency.
The distribution, during which Mr. Dumelo personally toured several areas in the constituency to provide the crucial instructional materials, started yesterday.
The project sought to help the candidates with their math paper preparation and give them the tools they needed to do well in their exams.
In addition to distributing math sets, Mr. Dumelo used the occasion to encourage and excite the young kids.
He encouraged them to “work hard, dream big, and think outside the box”.
As part of his dedication to enhancing education and empowering the kids in his area, Dumelo is taking part in the distribution of math sets.
Dumelo has been actively involved in a number of community development efforts in addition to the distribution of Maths sets, such as infrastructure upgrades, youth empowerment initiatives, and campaigns to encourage entrepreneurship and employment possibilities for locals.
